I was looking forward to Andrea Arnold’s Wuthering Heights because I loved her first film, Red Road and also quite liked her second, Fish Tank. But this latest one (based on Emily Brontë’s novel) just didn’t gel for me. There were large parts of it that I liked but overall the film just did not have the intensity required for the drama to pay off. ( Read more... )
